It’s Blogging Not a Jackpot

 

I hope the image below is enough to explain the purpose of this blog-post.  It is so explicit that the two-wheeler in the image is not going to fly.

Similarly, blogging is not going to give you million dollars overnight as promised by some of so-called blogging gurus on the Internet.

Hence, you will be fooling yourself as a blogger just like the guy on the two-wheeler.   

This blog-post is to all those novice bloggers, who plunge into blogging only with a desire to make money.

These so-called bloggers are fundamentally greedy, non-serious, frivolous, sluggish and even fraudsters who think blogging is a jackpot.

In fact, not just bloggers but these supposed blogging-gurus who proclaim that they can teach you to make money with blogging in few days. 

All those novice bloggers should realize that blogging is not a lottery. If they are planning to start a blog then do NOT come under the influence of these so-called blogging gurus wandering on the Internet. 

Few years back, even I took blogging as a way to make money in quick time but soon came to realize that it is not possible. 

Hence, it is better that all young bloggers should also realize that blogging is not a software program. 

If you do NOT realize the above mentioned point then you will fall on your face.

Blogging is another name of patience and perseverance. Here you have to work day and night without bothering any paybacks.

Yes! I do agree there is hell lot of money that you could make with blogging but only when you have mastered all the tricks of the trade. And mastering it takes years, not overnight. 

Thus, if you want to get into blogging then you must prepare your mind for a long overhaul. Looking for quick success and other shortcuts are not going to work. 

I’ll make things simple for you. What you need for blogging and what you don’t. 

So clear your few misperceptions about blogging.

     1. No Instant Money – Only after a year, a blog could pay you back something.

     2. Not a part time job – Blogging is so time-consuming that initially you’ll need 10 to 12 hrs a day.

     3. It is Not Free – Although capital investment is very less but not free.

     4. Blogging is NOT Internet Marketing – It is not MLM as blogging is more of an art. 

What you need for blogging.

    1.   A hobby or Passion for something – It may be your liking for music, cooking, gadgets, pets etc.

    2.  Good Writing Skills – Good writing skills in English is very important.

    3.   A lot of time and Patience – Prepare your mind to put a lot of effort. 

Finally, I would say do not take blogging too lightly as projected on the Internet. So, open your eyes and keep following my blog.      

My Definition of a "Blog"

We all know the literal meaning of word “blog”, already defined by oxford dictionary and others. 

However, here I would like to give my definition of a blog. It means how I see it?

For me blogging is an electronic journal that allows you to press-out your inner feelings which you could not speak because fear of the society you live.   

Another definition of a blog could be that it is like a personal diary where you write events or things occurred on day-to-day basis.

For me, a blog is more than an electronic journal or a personal diary. In fact, different individuals can interpret a blog in different ways.

For example, today for many on the Internet blogging is merely a way to make few bucks. They believe blogs could make them rich in few days.

Whether it is right or wrong, nonetheless that is how they think.

Basically, in this blog-post, I want to emphasize on the importance of having your own thinking of a blog.

You should define yourself what a blog is. Never follow the definition that mainstream perception or thinking gives you. 

You need to develop a thought process through which you could, not only define blogging but also interpret it, in your own way.

I really do not know whether you want to be a blogger or not? I am interested only in that you should have your own way of thinking which is against what majority thinks or believe.

However, coming out of idealism into realism, today blogs are mainly created for the sole purpose of making money. 

On the internet, you’ll find many new blogs which are started by young bloggers from around the world. 

There blogs ranges from music to education, from health to home, from technology to spirituality. I mean to say these guys write on every topic.

However, only few of them are successful, rest of them quit blogging because they could not make it. 

So, if you want to learn blogging then try to define blogging from your own perspective. Do NOT follow so-called top bloggers or gurus on the Internet.

You need to create your own style and signature. So define blogging according to your thinking and imagination.

The prime reason why bloggers do not succeed is that they fail to carve out their own unique identity. If you want to be different from the rest, then blog on your terms.

Blogging is all about expressing yourself rather greed for money.
